Red Goldstone/Sandstone 10mm bracelet (manmade)

This gorgeous bracelet is made of red goldstone beads.  Goldstone is a man made crystal and does not occur naturally. This bracelet is 10mm wide and the band is stretchy and will fit most wrists. 

Goldstone is a manmade type of glass created by adding different minerals to molten glass.  Red goldstone is created with red copper, blue goldstone has cobalt or manganese added, and green goldstone results from chromium added to the molten glass. 

Goldstone is also called aventurine glass based on the italian word "avventurina" meaning chance as it was discovered by Italian monks who accidentally dropped red copper into molten glass creating the first aventurine glass, or goldstone. 

Goldstone is also often called sandstone but that is a misleading name. 

Although man made goldstone still has metaphysical properties and is often used as a stone of ambition and aspiration and infuses the owners with passion, energy, courage, and optimism.
