Angelite Sphere 🌈

Angelite is a blue variety of anhydrous calcium sulfate.  It has a Mohs hardness of 3.5.  It is normally white or gray but blue and purple varieties are available. When exposed to water anhydrous transforms to gypsum, this process can be reversed through heating. 

Anhydrous was first found in 1794 in a salt mine. 

Angelite is a blue anhydrous from Peru.
